**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated lead to run strategic programs for the office of the CTO. This role involves close collaboration with the CTO and engineering & science leadership to design, lead, and execute critical business initiatives. This individual will also facilitate the operational rhythm for the engineering leadership team and work closely with the CTO to drive key forums and executive communications. The ideal candidate will utilize their technical acumen, strategic mindset, and strong stakeholder and program management skills to drive cross-organizational programs and successfully enable engineering leadership.
**What You’ll Do**
- Partner closely with tech leadership to conceptualize key strategic initiatives and develop those into detailed program/project plans that help in achieving key organizational objectives
- Lead complex, large-scale, cross-team, cross-functional tech initiatives; including planning, execution, reporting, and communication
- Drive programs and accountability by tracking progress, resolving dependencies, identifying issues, mitigating risks, and communicating status to key stakeholders
- Support executive communications to articulate organizational goals, strategies, and outcomes for both internal and external forums (e.g., Executive presentations, Board decks, internal and external speaking engagements)
- Help manage and bring value to the team’s business engagements (internal and external), including strategizing, planning, and managing leadership summits, global site visits, reviews, and other business critical activities
- Participate in cross-functional tech forums to help connect the dots, support organizational innovation, and contribute to improving processes across technology and related departments
**What You’ll Need**
- 8+ years experience in technology, product management, consulting, operations or other highly agile and fast paced, project based environments
- 8+ years experience managing complex, cross-functional projects including defining KPIs, and success metrics

- Solid technical aptitude and understanding of technical designs, challenges, and risks. Engineers enjoy working closely with you
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to translate technical concepts into a compelling narrative
- Strong cross-team and cross-org stakeholder management with the ability to influence, motivate, and align people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships
- Strong organizational skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items
- Experience in executing in fast-paced environments
- Analytical and truth-seeking - ability to understand complex concepts and make reasoned decisions objectively
- Data-driven - experience determining effective program KPIs and using them to measure program success and issues. Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations to drive decisions
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities constantly evolve as the business grows and adapts globally.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$239,000 per year - USD$265,500 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$239,000 per year - USD$265,500 per year.
