The AU Delivery Services Learning team is looking for a Regional Learning Mgr. This position will be responsible for the strategic execution of learning and development initiatives that supports core business objectives for our Delivery Services Operations teams. The Regional Learning Manager will spearhead the development and implementation of training best practices and standards, ensuring the effective execution of required training for program implementation, and fostering strong partnerships with Operations team. The Regional Learning Manager is also utilized as a lever to develop and implement standard work practices and improve safety, quality, and performance results, with a primary focus on delivering upon core learning deliverables and programs. This is a people manager position with direct reports, overseeing a team of learning coordinator across the region.
The Learning and Development team ensures all Delivery Station and Sort Center employees receive effective orientation, training, and coaching to meet or exceed performance goals. This involves leading training initiatives, communicating standards, and providing leadership across multiple sites in the Region. This role requires strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, prioritization, and project management capabilities. It also involves managing learning resources and cross-functional teams across multiple sites in the Region.
This position is regional and field-based, and based out of an in-market delivery station. This position includes a monthly in-station and/or travel requirement of at least 60% between Delivery Services sites
Key job responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of minimum 6 Learning Coordinators across the region.
- Strategical design, develop, assess, track, and facilitate training related programs for new and current entry level employees.
- Develop our training strategy for Critical Roles such as Yard Marshals, TDR or Learning Ambassadors.
- Drive adherence to standard learning solutions as well as getting feedback from the operational teams on areas of opportunity for improvement.
- Work strategically with WW teams to identify innovative learning solutions to localise training programs.
- Analyze and solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes with a operational excellence and lean mindset.
- Contribute to reporting on training activities and analyze data to drive results and learning effectiveness.
- Have the ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves" including jumping into some of our Operations roles if needed.
- Owning Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Deal with pressure, escalations and ambiguous scenarios.
- Support Organization growth as part of the launch process.Key attributes include:
- Degree in a related discipline (Business, Management, Human Resources, Education, Supply Chain/Logistics)
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and development of employees
- Prior experience working with and delivering training & information to employees
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data - Ability to work at pace and with ambiguity
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation
- Experience developing & implementing department goals & strategies based on organisational strategies
- Experience in business process improvement, Lean/Six Sigma a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience in project management role and delivering multiple and complex projects
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI and/or salesforce will be a plus
