**About the Role** We are looking for an Associate to join our Mexico Rides Strategy & Planning Team as a Corporate Strategy Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in driving the strategic initiatives and operational excellence that power our organization. This role calls for the following: 1. Someone with a high business sense who can understand complex problems fast, recommend a practical course of action, and follow through This role is an excellent opportunity for applicants who enjoy developing strategies, driving priorities and targets, implementing and promoting a collaborative and efficient way of working, and ensuring Uber resources are placed where they are needed to drive optimal results. **What you'll do:** 1. **Mexico Strategy & Priorities.** Work closely with the Mexico Leadership team and Strategy & Planning teams across the region to build and manage the overall Mexico Rides Strategy; defining narratives, principles, goals, and priorities. 2. **Planning.** Run the annual Mexico Planning Process working with the Central, Local, and Cross-Functional teams. 3. **Governance.** Build, run, and improve the ongoing governance of the Mexico Rides team. 4. **Develop Relationships. Collaborate with other functional areas (Business Development, People Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Rides, Eats, Cornershop, etc.) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships.** 5. **Ways of Working.** Identify, build, and implement new and improved processes that facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effectiveness within the Mexico teams. **What you'll need:** 01. **Proven Track Record**. You’ll have 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, strategic planning, operations, or similar roles. 02. **Planning and Organization.** Appropriately prioritizing and planning projects and/or tasks that maximize the benefit for the organization. 03. **Communication:** Communicating clearly and concisely, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights. 04. **Teamwork.** Working well in a team, through optimism and respect for others. 05. **Strong Stakeholder Management.** Engaging, informing, and gaining the support of various stakeholders. Taking time to build helpful relationships; and earning the trust of others within the organization through strong situational awareness and reliability. 06. **Self-starter.** The ability to self-serve, investigate, and get the info/data we require will make you much more effective in this role. 07. **Business Acumen and Critical Thinking Skills.** You’ll need to be able to use data and think creatively to identify the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them. You will need to be comfortable thinking about the big-picture strategy but also getting your hands dirty in the details. 08. **Manage Without Authority:** You should demonstrate the ability to influence, collaborate, and drive results across teams and stakeholders at varying levels of seniority. This includes working effectively without direct reporting lines, fostering alignment, and achieving goals through strong relationship-building and strategic communication skills. 09. **English.** Proficiency in English. 10. **Data Management Skills.** Excel/Sheets, Powerpoint/slides and general financial acumen. 11. Proven capability to manage multiple critical tasks simultaneously, consistently meeting challenging deadlines 12. Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and cross-functional approach to issues preferred 13. Experience working with a bias to action, and grittiness to get things done 14.
