_We're disrupting the transportation space, reinventing insurance protection, and growing in the U.S. and worldwide! Insurance is a uniquely strategic function at Uber and this is a very different role than traditional corporate risk manager roles._

**_What You’ll Do_**
- _Help gather and analyze data to facilitate the management and renewal of Uber’s insurance programs_
- _Assist in the ongoing maintenance and annual renewal of all coverage placements including Casualty, Property, Cyber, D&O, Worker’s Compensation_
- _Track and participate in the administration of Uber’s insurance programs including etc_
- _Support the day-to-day administration of the insurance program including COIs, policy issuance, binders, invoices, payment status, maintaining files with policies and endorsements, and responding to insurance-related inquiries_
- _Ensuring required data and compliance documentation is provided and other support activities as requested._
- _Conduct research, and analytics, and provide operational support to help optimize existing insurance products and identify new opportunities_
- _Stay abreast of new trends and ins_ _urance product developments in the rideshare/sharing economy sector_
- _Work directly with our internal business partners and brokers_
- _Develop risk management and insurance materials for relevant stakeholders_
- _Research appropriate risk management solutions to enable emerging company initiatives and products_
- _Help drive a culture of risk management throughout the business and operationalize ways to measure risk/impact on insurance programs_
**Basic Qualifications**
- _2+ years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field, analytically minded, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail_
- _Bachelor’s degree in Insurance/ Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, (or a related field), or insurance-related professional certification (e.g., ACAS, ARM, CRM)_
- _Knowledge and understanding of business insurance lines, insurance policy forms and wordings, insurance market dynamics, and conditions_
**_Preferred Qualifications_**
- _Experience with an in-house corporate risk team including insurance placements_
- _Knowledge of the transportation or technology sector’s risk landscape is highly desirable._
- _Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences._
- _Experience with data analytics tools including SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and/or PowerBI_
- _Ability to analyze datasets, identify trends and anomalies, and translate data into actionable business strategies._
- _Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google equivalent_
- _Team player. You rely on others' candid feedback for continuous improvement_
- _Ability to deal well with ambiguity, multi-tasking, and perform under tight deadlines_
- _Self-motivated, with a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm about Uber and our mission!_
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
