**About the Role**
We are looking for an Operations Associate for the US and Canada markets who will be running the day-to-day operations for our financing products including the launch and growth phases.
This role provides a unique opportunity to deep dive into financial products at Uber and work with a broad range of internal stakeholders, as well as the exposure to the leading global players in the financing market.
**What you will do:**
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate the decision-making process related to the product launch, address potential questions/concerns and get all required approvals
- Run market research to understand the demand, identify and size expansion opportunities for Uber’s financial products
- Plan and execute customer-facing communication campaigns using integrated marketing channels, track the performance and make improvements as needed
- Track product performance, prepare reports and share insights
- Coordinate escalations for the customer complaints, engage cross-functional stakeholders and external partners as needed
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor in Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Business or equivalent experience.
- Advanced level of spoken and written English
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work with numbers, spreadsheets, models, and data visualizations
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders coming from both technical and non-technical backgrounds
- Attention to detail: the team must be able to rely on your work with confidence
- Problem-solving - Solving high-complexity problems by using logic, common sense and data not only by identifying the root cause of a problem but also by providing actionable insights and mitigation plans.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Proficiency in SQL
- Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative attitude and to drive analysis, get into conclusions and be able to present them to different stakeholders.
- Advanced communication skills that will allow you to clearly explain and present your work and take a prominent role in building constructive debate.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in High-growth operations, startup, bank or fintech.
