Media Production Intern (Summer 2025)

THE WORK:

The Ripple Media Production Intern will support the production and execution of video and photography for Ripple’s media team. You’ll work as a key collaborator to produce and assist on a variety of work, from video series and product videos to podcasts to photography. The work will include in-office pre-production, including research, crafting timelines, and coordinating film shoots, as well as attending shoots and assisting with post-production. The role also includes support on our processes, helping us to update our video tracking system, label photographs, archival work and crafting assets for video. During the internship, the intern will observe and receive training on all aspects of production. In addition, the intern will own one creative project from start to finish, and present that at the end of the internship.

This position requires the ability to commute to our San Francisco office, an average of 2-3 days/week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Contribute to organizing the Ripple photography library (sourcing, tagging, uploading)
• Draft briefs based on business objectives
• Development and research work on projects in flight
• Create mood boards and contribute to concept development for brand productions
• Secure locations and permits for on-site productions
• Research and recruit talent and subjects for documentary and brand productions
• Post Production assistance
• Transcribe interviews and write draft scripts
• Podcast production support (All About Blockchain and Block Stars)
• Support external events production coverage including drafting briefs, run-of-show documents, production timelines, and delivery of assets.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment on goals

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

The right candidate for this role is studying or has experience in film, photography, live broadcast and/or events production. You have a creative attitude: a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and flexible thinking.

You have a growth mindset and are excited to learn new skills on the job, while being willing to support and assist the team on a variety of media projects. You’re organized and capable of tracking and handling multiple deliverables across multiple areas. You also have a natural curiosity and interest in storytelling - and consider it essential to learn about Ripple’s brand and solutions in order to best contribute to the company’s mission.

• A strong attention to detail and spelling for quality control
• Ability to work on multiple initiatives with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• The ability to thrive and plan before a production even begins. You do your work in pre-production so life is easy when you’re on set.
• Experience in film production or broadcast television is a plus
• Experience in Adobe creative suite would be a plus
• Technical background and hands-on experience with video production equipment is an advantage
