**About the Role** Build, operate, scale and improve Community Operations with a heavy focus on solving problems and leading teams to deliver stellar outcomes. Continuous process improvement, advocating passionately on behalf of our community to influence the overall customer experience, and managing stakeholder relationships across the larger business to set the right expectations and deliver on them. **What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points** \-\-\-\- What the Candidate Will Do ---- 1. **Operations Management:** Manage a team of claims advocates and be responsible for all the operational goals of the LOB 2. **Process improvement:** Identify operational and structural weaknesses and help improve existing or develop new processes and driving high compliance 3. **Program/project management:** Be a multi-tasker, supporting projects across the LOB and you'll be the go to person for many key initiatives within the COE 4. **Problem Solving**: Have a knack for solving problems and dealing with issues in a structured and calm way 5. **Stakeholder management**: Engage strategically with stakeholders, be it city function leads or vendors to influence business goals and priorities, central global teams to improve internal tools and the overall user experience, or local teams. 6. **People Management:** Be a great people manager, coaching the team leads and/or COSs while building a solid team culture 1. **Clear communicator:** You are a clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights 2. **Explorer:** The ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role. Self-starter attitude is a must! 3. **Balance attention to detail with swift execution:** We need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength 4. **A high bar across the board:** From your own contributions, to the people you work with, to the products you work on 5. Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment 6. Exceptional problem solving skills, strong Excel / data management skills 7. Project management skills 8. 2-3 years of people management/operations management/general management/ support experience \-\-\-\- Basic Qualifications ---- 1. Should be a graduate 2. Prior experience of being a SME or a TL for a period of 2 years 3. Prior experience in a Safety Team 4. Knowledge of US auto claims coverages 5. 2+ years of auto claims management experience OR 1+ year bodily injury adjusting experience 6. Proficiency with various computer operating systems 7. Commitment to work in shifts aligning to US Business Time Zone and/or flexible to work in shifts as per Business Requirements \-\-\-\- Preferred Qualifications ---- 01. Claims designation obtained or in progress a plus 02. Experience with bodily injury claims handling experience with a major insurance carrier 03. Advanced written and verbal communication skills 04. Extraordinary attention to detail 05. Ability to maintain quality in a fast-paced, high volume environment 06. High degree of adaptability to meet changing business needs 07. Proficient in muliti-tasking through various technology platforms 08. Compromises when necessary in order to help the team achieve goals 09. Ability to mentor members of the Claims team and serve as an insurance and claims subject matter expert 10.
