Role: Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Bangalore

Shift: 14:00 – 23:00 IST

Job Type: Full-Time Onsite (No Remote/ Hybrid mode)

Required Skills: Python; SQL; (Snowflake / Matillion)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team and contribute to our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
  • Strong Proficiency with Matillion ETL, Snowflake, and GitHub.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Data Resources (e.g., S3, Step Functions, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in data modelling and database design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other ETL tools and data integration platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL and other database management systems.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement ETL Processes: Utilize Matillion ETL to design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL flows and processes.
  • Data Warehouse Management: Experienced in working with Snowflake to design, develop, and manage data warehousing solutions that support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Programming and Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts and applications using Python to support data engineering, processing and analysis.
  • Cloud Data Resources: Leverage AWS Cloud Data Resources to build and manage scalable data architectures, including S3, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, and other AWS services.
  • Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across various systems and applications.
  • Repository Management and CI/CD: Use GitHub for repository management and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs following the best practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
  • Data Governance: Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are met across all data-related projects.
