Java Developer

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop and maintain software using Java 11+ and frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Contribute to designing and building scalable applications deployed on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices.
• Work with RESTful APIs for both consumption and creation.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Manage relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and explore NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB).
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and continuously improve coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.

• Proficiency in Java 11+, with hands-on experience in Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Basic understanding of AWS services or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
• Understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and best practices for cloud-based applications.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., ICMP, HTTP, subnets).
