WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and maintain PHP applications using MVC frameworks.
  • Design, build, and implement solutions for cybersecurity products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and fix reported defects.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, discussing requirements, proposing solutions, and estimating work.
  • Ensure code quality by participating in code reviews and writing unit tests.
  • Develop and integrate scalable microservices in a production environment.
  • Create and maintain RESTful web services for high-throughput applications.
  • Utilize ALM tools like JIRA and GitLab for efficient workflow management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a PHP Developer with experience in modern web development, RESTful services, and front-end frameworks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript frameworks and thrives in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for high-performance applications.
  • Architect, develop, and optimize PHP applications using MVC frameworks.
  • Work on front-end applications with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Develop and optimize MySQL queries for relational database management.
  • Implement microservices architectures to enhance scalability.
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless system integration.
  • Participate in unit testing and validation techniques to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Enhance DevOps processes, contributing to CI/CD automation.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in PHP development using MVC frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience in React and front-end development.
  • 3+ years of experience with MySQL and relational database design.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in PHP 7/8 with frameworks like Laravel and Lumen.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs for large-scale applications.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architectures in production.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with JIRA & GitLab.
  • Experience developing unit tests for code validation and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • CI/CD expertise, especially with GitLab CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudFront, CloudWatch, SQS, EKS, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, etc.).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like AppDynamics.
  • Experience working with legacy Drupal applications (for maintenance purposes).
