## **About the Role**
We’re looking for a strategic, business-savvy Product Marketing Manager to lead our Autonomous Mobility & Delivery efforts. In this role, you’ll define Uber’s global marketing strategy to drive adoption and engagement for autonomous vehicle (AV) rides and deliveries. This is a highly cross-functional role, sitting at the intersection of product, marketing, creative, business development, and customer experience.
The Autonomous Mobility & Delivery (AM&D) team is pioneering Uber’s autonomous future in Rides and Eats as autonomous technology is transforming how people and goods move through the world. Uber is at the forefront of integrating AVs into our platform, working with partners to bring safe, efficient, and innovative autonomous experiences to riders and businesses. You’ll help shape how we introduce, build trust in, and scale these cutting-edge mobility and delivery solutions.
You’ll work closely with teams across Policy, Communications, Product, Operations, and Marketing to develop and scale global marketing strategies. ## **What You’ll Do**
- **Cross-functional Leadership**: Influence how cross-functional teams collaborate to drive the adoption of autonomous rides and deliveries, working closely with product, operations, and business development teams to bring AV solutions to market.
- **Messaging & Positioning**: Develop compelling narratives that demystify autonomous technology, build trust, and communicate the benefits of AV rides and deliveries to consumers and businesses.
- **Go-to-Market Excellence:** Lead go-to-market efforts for autonomous products, ensuring clear, effective, and timely education and adoption strategies for riders, delivery customers, and partners.
- **Global Leadership:** Guide central and local strategies and tactics, working closely with the regional marketing, legal, and operations teams to determine scaled resources and support in the local implementation of best practices.
- **Research & Insights:** Craft the learning agenda in partnership with research teams and use the insights to inform and guide ongoing product development, regional marketing, and central engagement programs.
## **Basic Qualifications**
- 5+ years of marketing or product experience
- 2+ years of consumer (B2C) product marketing experience
- Bachelors degree
- Penchant for data: You go get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive growth.
- Top-notch at market research: You're a truth-seeking missile. You know your market, customers, and competition better than anyone, and you integrate this information into your growth strategies.
- Master storyteller: You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels - you know how to match the message to the medium.
- A messaging maestro: Incredible at articulating the essence of products and the value they create. You can make the most complex products incredibly simple for consumers to understand.You can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy. You shine at copywriting.
## **Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in mobility, autonomous technology, or product marketing for emerging technologies is a plus.
- A "builder" personality: You're biased toward action, a great collaborator across functions, internally and externally, and a master disambiguator/simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.
- Grittiness: You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
- A hard-working, detailed, organized, and motivated self-starter, who enjoys challenges and is not deterred by complicated/complex situations.
- An awesome and optimistic attitude. We work hard, and have a good time doing it.
- Influential with great communication skills
- Experience in planning, setting metrics, and roadmap development
- MBA or Master's degree is a plus
- International experience is a plus
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$135,000 per year - USD$150,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
