##### **About the Role** ##### Uber is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our US & Canada Mobility Operations team. If you love setting a vision, managing cross-functional partners, pushing projects forward to deliver strategically meaningful results, and solving problems from both 30,000 feet as well as deep in the details, this is the role for you! ##### We're generating vast amounts of data every day. We use this data to influence everything we do: identify ways to continually make the Uber experience better for drivers and riders, deploy customer growth campaigns, understand customer behavior, develop and launch new product offerings, and more. Operations Associates are responsible for developing strategies, such as how we balance our marketplace, target and deploy customer promotions, manage local markets, and identify and solve operational weaknesses. They balance improving or innovating new processes with setting and delivering on goals to meet business needs. ##### **About the Team** ##### The Canada Mobility Operations team drives business growth in Canada by growing our customer base (riders and drivers), improving their experience, and expanding into new geographies and business lines. ##### As an Operations Associate on our Earners and Vehicles team you will play a critical role growing our Canadian business by analyzing opportunities and executing on operational plans. The role will be highly analytical and collaborative as you will work closely with others including marketing, public affairs, legal, business development and others to drive initiatives that will improve our business in Canada. ##### Our earner and vehicle team owns the driver journey and key work streams include optimizing driver growth at the city and geo level, expanding to new markets, and owning our sustainability strategy. ##### **What You'll Do** - Conduct analyses and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions - Plan and execute projects of varying time horizons and scope with minimal guidance, requiring stakeholder and project management skills - Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes - Build, maintain, and communicate reporting at city and regional-level, while working with a variety of central teams (Marketing, Product, Public Policy, Legal) to ensure that insights are embedded into all initiatives that impact Canada - Launching and owning new initiatives to grow our rider and driver base ##### **Basic Qualifications** - 2+ years' of professional work experience in a related field such as operations, marketing analytics, consulting, technology, strategy, or analytics - SQL proficiency - Excel/Google Sheets proficiency - Bachelor's degree ##### **Preferred Qualifications** - French Language is a plus - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment - Experience problem-solving and proposing unique solutions to complex issues - Proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and to consistently deliver against hard deadlines - Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data & insights to a sophisticated audience - Strong collaboration skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with territory and cross functional teams - Strong business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$89,000 per year - CAD$99,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
