What is the role about?

At Bitvavo, we are looking for a creative and user-focused Product Designer to join our dynamic Customer domain. This area of Bitvavo is responsible for growing the user base by acquiring, onboarding, activating, and retaining users throughout their lifecycle. You will play a key role in crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling experiences across the Customer vertical.

Crypto can be complex, and we are looking for someone who can turn that complexity into clarity through thoughtful design. You will work alongside a cross-functional team, contributing to product discovery and design execution that helps strengthen Bitvavo’s position as a leading European crypto platform. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a fast-moving and innovative environment.

How will you make an impact?

• Contribute to end-to-end design work across web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistent and high-quality user experiences
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to align user needs with business goals
• Support discovery efforts by contributing to user research, prototyping, and design validation
• Translate complex problems into simple and effective design solutions
• Communicate design ideas clearly through wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups
• Apply user feedback and data to iterate on designs and continuously improve the product
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to a supportive, feedback-rich team culture

How will you be successful?

• 2–4 years of experience as a Product Designer with a portfolio that highlights thoughtful UX and polished UI design across digital products
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to balance visual design with usability and technical constraints
• Proficient in Figma and other modern design tools to create clear, scalable design systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
• A customer-first attitude with a focus on creating accessible and meaningful experiences
