Our team, located in Amsterdam, is looking for self-driven, talented people who can help make digital assets available for everyone.
What is the role about?
As a digital asset provider, Bitvavo has the responsibility to protect its clients against malicious actors, and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. As a firm offering service for the exchange between digital assets and regular money, we are subject to European anti-money-laundering laws and regulations and are supervised by the Dutch Central Bank. It is important to ensure that we comply with licensing requirements, internal policies and other prevailing laws. And that's where you come into play.
As a Senior Onboarding Specialist, you will be part of our KYC & Onboarding team, which is part of our Operations department. The KYC & Onboarding team ensures the quality of our operational KYC processes.
You will face multiple challenges as we are growing quickly throughout Europe. You will coordinate and streamline the retail onboarding workflows and will lead our team of KYC agents. You will be the teamβs retail onboarding stakeholder for our Financial Crime Officers, Quality Assurance Officers, Data team and Compliance Officers. You will play a role in implementing a more data-driven approach to our work. You will report to our Onboarding Manager.
