Bitvavo, the leading European crypto exchange, is looking for an experienced native German Content Marketer to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing impactful content strategies for the German market, enhancing Bitvavo’s visibility and growth in Germany and across Europe.

Who you are

You are a natural storyteller with a passion for crafting high-quality content that informs, engages, and converts. You know how to connect with audiences through compelling narratives and strategic content distribution across multiple channels, targeting German-speaking customers, the crypto community, and beyond.

The ideal candidate is an active crypto trader and investor. Not quite there yet? If you have experience writing financial content and are a quick learner with a strong desire to dive into the crypto world, we’re still excited to meet you and help you get up to speed.

How will you make an impact?

• Content Creation and Strategy: Write high-quality content, including blog articles, newsletters, emails, and website copy, to drive brand awareness, nurture leads, and boost engagement. Define and execute the content strategy for the German market.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to maintain consistent messaging and brand positioning.
• SEO & Content Performance: Optimize content for search engines and leverage analytics to enhance reach and effectiveness.
• Brand Activation & Stewardship: Ensure all content adheres to Bitvavo’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and communication style while leading initiatives to strengthen brand visibility in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Market & Trend Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging topics in crypto to keep content relevant and engaging.

How will you be successful?

• Native German speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
• 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, or editorial roles, preferably within fintech, crypto, or a fast-growing scale-up environment.
• Strong editorial skills, with the ability to write and refine content that is engaging, informative, and aligned with brand messaging.
• Passionate about crypto trading and investing, ideally an active trader and investor who understands the industry and its audience.
• Analytical mindset, using data to assess content effectiveness and optimize for engagement and conversion.
• Proactive and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• SEO knowledge and experience optimizing content for organic reach and performance.
