**About the Role**
In an age of sophisticated channel algorithms, creative is now one of the largest levers marketers can control and optimize when it comes to Performance Marketing. In this role, you will have a direct impact on all performance marketing creative—globally—at Uber! We continuously iterate on acquisition-focused creative to improve our campaign performance, while constantly creating new assets—inspired from all over the globe, and seen by millions. You will collaborate regularly with our global channels team to ensure we hit our aggressive growth targets, as well as with the global strategy teams to ensure we stay relevant and feel local around the world. You will be expected to produce creative that taps our cutting edge creative automation technology, unlocking massive scale intersecting with local, creative nuance.

**What You'll Do**
- Work with internal channel managers (ie: FB/IG, TikTok channel managers) to brief external agencies and produce new creative (that follows best practices, cutting edge trends, and gives a nod to local nuances) for performance marketing
- Lead creative optimization testing roadmaps for evergreen acquisition-campaigns on paid social/display/video channels
- Using in-house measurement tools, pull creative performance insights to inform future asset development and optimization
- Work with the cross-functional internal applied science teams and channel teams to craft creative experiments (such as A/B Testing), track the impact of new creative, and make decisions regarding next steps
- Project manage new creative productions from start to finish, including:
- outlining the scope of the request
- briefing creative ad agencies focused on acquisition creative
- working with marketing legal teams on approvals
- provide creative feedback/direction during agency reviews
- work with localization teams and local teams
- develop test plans across various channels (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc)
- organize and pull results to understand the impact of creative optimization in performance marketing
- Educate other teams (inside & outside of performance marketing) on creative testing results
- Create creative templates and storyboards yourself through our internal creative tools and resources
- Write acquisition-focused copy for text-based channels such as paid search, display, and job boards.
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with performance marketing channels (i.e. social, display, mobile app marketing, app stores, SEM, etc.) either leading campaigns or producing creative
- Knowledge of today's social media trends and the content that grabs attention, spreads widely, and stays current
- Previous in-office experience, as this role requires in-person office attendance, and is considered hybrid.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience pulling creative reporting from platforms (ie: Meta, TikTok, Google Ads), Tableau, and general curiosity about performance marketing data
- Genuine curiosity in understanding what ad variation drove results and why
- Experience partnering with creative agencies to produce new performance based creative and an understanding of best practices for acquisition/performance creative vs. brand awareness goals
- DIY digital ad creation
- Performance copywriting
- Project management skills inclusive of prioritization, organization, stakeholder management, and accountability to timelines
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, analytics, and digital marketing teams
- A desire to move quickly and experiment with new ideas
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
- Experience with dynamic content optimization engines preferred
- Experience producing content/ads in multiple languages, cultures, and countries around the world
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$108,000 per year - USD$120,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$108,000 per year - USD$120,000 per year.
