The Senior HRBP for Ads Product will help coordinate efforts within and across the Ads Platform teams, directly partnering with the Ads Product team. This person will contribute to and support the delivery of a cohesive talent strategy and vision for the team, develop many of the key building blocks, and continue to iterate and evolve our talent practices over time, partnering closely with key leaders in the org. The Senior HRBP role will play a role in organization design, compensation, employee development, talent density, inclusion, and much more as we scale around the world.

  • Adept at exploring and analyzing data to identify insights and opportunities for business impact, using data to drive business decisions and tell a compelling story that influences stakeholders.

  • A self-starter who is comfortable in both the details and strategy, demonstrating curiosity about the business and organization overall with a desire to uplevel the partnership with the teams they support.

  • A great communicator who can share context effectively and bring clarity to messages. 

We want someone who can:

Build the capability of our people leaders: 

  • One of the primary responsibilities of our HRBPs is to build the capability and capacity of our people leaders to lead the business and their teams. Some examples of how HRBPs support this growth is: 

    • Providing feedback and coaching to people leaders 

    • Amplify and execute programs developed by our Global Business Practices (e.g., L&D programs, Growth @ Netflix, 360s, etc.)  

    • Guide people leaders on ‘talent density’ and ‘keepers test’ concepts to ensure high-performing teams

Shape and drive talent initiatives: 

  • Our HRBPs play a key role in building and evolving the Ads people infrastructure. Some examples of this include: 

    • Partnering on our approach to onboarding 

    • Simplifying our compensation process 

    • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition to shape new hiring processes 

Manage employee situations: 

  • Our HRBPs will take the lead on supporting Directors, Managers, and ICs on complex employee relations matters (eg. interpersonal conflict, terminations & exits, etc.) partnering with relevant members of Product Legal and Employee Services 

  • HRBPs support the organization to deliver by helping drive alignment to the business strategy, resolving the tension between groups, clarifying roles and responsibilities, improving team effectiveness, nurturing organizational health, and much more. 

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of progressive, strategic, and well-rounded HR experience working in dynamic environments, proven ability and interest to be hands-on. 

  • Desire to work in-person in our Los Gatos or NYC offices on a hybrid schedule

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $230,000 - $530,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
