Amazon is looking for a Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects in the Supply Chain Operations Integration team. This role is about scaling the reusable containers programs (RCP), which aims to evolve an internal supply chain capability that enables movement of inventory and customer shipments in reusable containers. This program is seen as a triple win: sustainability (due to reduced expenditure of fresh corrugates), cost, and reduced damages to our products (due to better tertiary protection during in-transit movements). This role requires scoping large projects, setting a vision, managing to project timelines, and communicating to senior management on status, risks, and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, team management, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role is based in Bangalore.
Responsibilities include:
- Working on programs and products that aim at scaling RCP across multiple use cases and business lines within the Amazon ecosystem.
- Managing cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects, and processes.
- Managing a high performing team, and driving a culture of knowledge sharing, uniform decision frameworks and equitable distribution of load to drive excellence in goal setting and delivery of results.
- Innovating to improve customer experience and continuously remove cost from our fulfillment network.
- Managing bench marking analysis and projects for Amazon’s fulfillment practices both internally and externally against best-in-class operations.
- Launching newer use cases towards expansion of LM Pick-up for usage of Reusable Container.
- Creating Strategy to scale RCP -re-usability scope in newer networks with existing PFS Assets and develop containerization strategy to drive ASINs movement across Core till end-customer expansion.
Along with build execution plan along with miles, ATS, Product, OEMs & larger stakeholders with ownership of phase manner expansion and financial P&L owner.
-Launch of new Reusable assets to reduce packaging cost, damages with sustainability impact and drive secure delivery to end-customer with increase in speed & improve productivity implications across entire core network.
- Leading PFS P&L, Cost Spends & Execution plan in collaboration with various stakeholders and operate at scale.

- Own & manage program P&L drive financials cost decisions with driving significant cost improvement across defined network
- Work across with stakeholders to define BRD, product roadmap, enable UAT and launch new product features by work along with Product-Tech teams to drive automation.

About the team
The role is based out of the Operations Integration team of the Supply Chain vertical of Amazon operations. The mission of the team is to drive long term program and product interventions that improve the efficiency of the supply chain, measured through the lenses of enhanced customer experience or cost efficiency, or boosting our sustainability ambitions (the Climate Pledge). As a team we operate & launch various WW first initiatives across reusbility with owning product roadmap to support scale with automation, programmatic interventions to ensure financial viable model in collaboration with various internal & external stakeholders. - 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in analyzing data to drive decisions
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
