We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our finance organization supporting the AWS Infrastructure Services - Supply Chain Finance team. You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers. You should be comfortable with working with ambiguity, diving deep into detail, and be able to communicate the story behind the numbers.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Perform monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting processes for spares expenditures

- Partner with AWS Infrastructure FP&A and business partners to create descriptive and prescriptive analysis

- Work cross-functionally with business partners and various finance teams on strategic initiatives requiring NPV analyses and monthly reporting on financial status

- Develop metrics and reports to provide visibility into cost structure and drive actionable goals

- Develop business cases for ad-hoc projects and present recommendations to AWS senior management.

Key job responsibilities
Perform monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting processes for spares expenditures

- Develop business cases for ad-hoc projects and present recommendations to AWS senior management.
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- 6+ year of experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
