We work in some of the most exciting computer science domains. We are building new products on top of massive scale streaming systems, applying machine learning and data science expertise using Hadoop, Elastic MapReduce, and Spark to drive optimizations and insights while building front-ends in ReactJS to help internal and external advertisers to deeply understand their customers and markets.
We’re looking for experienced, motivated software engineers with a proven track record of building data engineering and scalable web services. The ideal candidate will be innovative, have great problem solving, analytical and technical skills. You must be comfortable and confident working on Linux systems. You have a deep understanding of software development in an agile team environment. Mentor and grow other engineers in the team
Drive experiments to discover best path forward- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
