The Standards, Practices & Insights team is responsible for establishing, validating and communicating clear, actionable and data-informed standards for promotional assets. These standards are expected to help uphold our Principles for Choosing, empower responsible creative judgment, and enable effective tooling and workflow systems.
In addition, SPI is expected to anticipate and shepherd changes created by the productization of new canvases and assets (e.g. how craft quality and asset creation may be affected by changes in workflow or new tooling, and how to maintain high creative quality regardless of how those assets are made). This includes working with cross-functional partners to understand upstream changes and downstream implications, and leveraging expertise from the right creative experts.
Standards Leads are responsible for defining creative excellence and technical specifications for promotional assets. It is their responsibility to identify, codify and maintain standards across disciplines (artwork, AV and copy) and initiatives (such as new member experiences). They must use strong judgment to make the distinction between what needs to be done at scale vs. treated as an exception, and are expected to consult and engage in debate with stakeholders for creative decisions. They are responsible for documenting and defining quality for assets — both new and long-established — and anticipating how initiatives or workflows may affect quality.
We are looking for a Design Standards Lead. This role is for a natural leader with top-notch aesthetic and storytelling chops who enjoys the challenge of making creative work scale and feel fresh at the same time. We're looking for someone with a wide range of styles and strategies in art, design, and storytelling. This role will be a key contributor to the ideation, design and art direction of our promotional assets through guideline and tooling development. While the Design Standards Lead isn’t expected to work directly on title launches, their expertise influences our team’s creative output at scale.

Partnering closely with production, tech and ops partners to ensure tools and workflows are in service of creative excellence principles and standards
