We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join the DACH Production team based out of our Berlin office.
This person will be a vital member of the Production (Production Management, Post Production, VFX) team, organizing information and workflows with an increasing slate of projects from development through delivery. In this role, you will work closely with Netflix's cross functional teams as well as external partners (talent and producers).
The role is not an entry-level position and requires previous production experience, either on set, in a production office, or at a production company, studio or network.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, passionate, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization, interest in production apps and tools, and great attention to detail at all times.
Responsibilities:
Act as the interface between Netflix and production partners & vendors when it comes to onboarding to Netflix’s suite of tools and resources.
Set up and coordinate ongoing meetings for our slate of productions.
Serve as primary contact for partners through pre-production, production, and wrap, ensuring internal Netflix teams receive pertinent updates in a timely manner.
Track and oversee schedules (writing/development, production, post, etc.) along with overall local content slate, keeping stakeholders apprised of status.
Maintain, update, champion the use of our internal systems to track and manage show assets & paperwork delivery to Netflix.
Update production management “best practices” and refine production guidelines, work with technical teams in training others to use Netflix tools and understand our workflow.
Support managers on budget reviews and analysis.
Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the Production department.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of production experience in Scripted or Non-Scripted production, either on set and/or inside of a production company, network and or studio.
Fluency in German and English is required.
Understanding of the local production workflows, and interest in working across multiple teams (Production, Post and VFX) in all types of content (Scripted & Non-Scripted)
Preferably familiar with post-production/editorial systems and finishing processes.
Proficiency in working with the Google Software tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
Familiarity of Movie Magic Budgeting and Scheduling and related documents
Team player with an ability to supervise several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery) in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
