Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Talent (HR) Tech and Finance Tech teams in Warsaw. This role will primarily focus on Talent (HR) Tech in the long term, with some additional responsibilities in 2025 to help build out the Fin Tech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and developing HR technology solutions, with a deep understanding of both third-party SaaS platforms like Workday and custom-built applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Vision: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Talent Tech team, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Project Management: Oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvements of HR technology solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and  Engineering , to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Innovation: Identify and foster the development of innovative solutions to enhance HR processes and improve user experience.
  • Technical Oversight: Manage the integration of third-party SaaS platforms with custom-built applications, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions, adhering to best practices in software development and UX design.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.

About you: 

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, with a focus on HR technology solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR systems, primarily Workday, and other SaaS platforms, as well as custom application development.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
