The Marketing Business Operations (BizOps) team drives business growth, brand engagement, and the efficient use of resources by unlocking new capabilities and insights for Marketing. BizOps works with teams across the company to build, connect, and improve the global data and technology needed for Marketing to deliver maximum impact. The team is visible throughout the organization, which depends on BizOps perspectives to inform important decisions and execute highly visible special projects that drive the ongoing growth and scalability of the marketing business.
BizOps is looking for a Manager to help execute a roadmap for marketing testing and analysis that will influence the strategies and decisions of the Marketing organization. The BizOps Manager will primarily oversee the global learning agenda for Performance Marketing to standardize measurement, unlock new capabilities, evaluate business impact, and define best practices. This role will partner across a diverse set of stakeholders including global marketing, data science, engineering, and finance. They will also be external facing, working closely with advertising and insights platforms with whom we are experimenting.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate business objectives and strategic opportunities into a learning agenda and testing roadmap for marketing in partnership with our marketing science partners
Lead the end-to-end project management of Performance Marketing A/B tests and quasi experiments, including managing budgets, timelines, reporting, and communications
Analyze marketing performance, engagement, and operations data and synthesize into actionable information that influences strategies and tactics via exec-friendly materials
Identify the technical requirements needed to enhance our marketing capabilities and partner with product managers and engineers to prioritize OKRs and implement solutions
Be a thought partner and subject matter expert to marketing, data science, finance or other XFN on analyses, pilots, and special projects that leverage digital marketing data
The Ideal Candidate Is/Has…
7+ years in marketing analytics, strategy and operations, management consulting or other roles that require a blend of analytics, strategic thinking, and heavy cross-functional interaction
Expertise in digital marketing and/or entertainment preferred
High comfort level executing comprehensive analyses, partnering deeply with data scientists/analysts/engineers, and shifting between the macro and the micro
Experience managing a learning agenda and implementing experiments, tests, and pilots
Exceptionally strong written, verbal, and visual communication with the ability to 1) translate data into actionable insight, 2) engage a variety of stakeholders (technical and non), and 3) influence the business
Proficiency in modeling via Excel, experience or strong interest to learn BI tools such as Tableau, and ability to quickly learn new reporting tools and data sets
Is resourceful, endlessly curious, and has a high comfort level managing complex initiatives
High tolerance for change and the capacity to accomplish enormous amounts of work in a fast-paced environment

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $200,000 - $350,000.
