WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Set up and install network, storage, and server hardware
· Maintain proper documentation and reports for auditing and tracking purposes
· Maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot infrastructure system health issues
· Deploy and configure Linux and Windows server operating systems
· Work with data center partners to understand and ensure facilities like cooling, fire suppression, UPS system, etc. are working properly and in accordance with requirements
· Acts as a company-facing information technology expert as well, internally diagnosing and solving technical problems to ensure the data center runs smoothly.
· Identify reliability risks
· Schedule and track hardware maintenance and spare equipment
· Update port maps and rack layouts
· Create operational procedures
· Work with third party vendors to deploy, manage, and support all infrastructure hardware globally
· Regularly required to lift heavy equipment

WHAT’S REQUIRED
· 3+ years of relevant experience in systems support, installing, testing, and maintaining HPE and Dell computer systems
· Knowledge of the OSI model, specifically the physical, data link, and network layers
· Hands-on experience in data center operations and familiarity with facility management, server hardware, and network equipment
· Proficiency with Linux, Windows servers, and VMware operating systems
· Familiarity with the setup and configuration of server, enterprise network, and SAN equipment
· Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure with tight deadlines
· Someone who learns quickly and is eager to acquire new skills and technologies
· Experience in network and power capacity planning
· Proficient in using standard hardware lifts
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
