Software Engineer, Macro Front Office Technology

WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will be responsible for building services, applications and workflows required to develop best-in-class analytics for the team’s stakeholders. The focus will be primarily on, but not limited to, analytics for P&L and risk. Specifically, you will:
• Develop P&L and risk analytics for new and existing financial products and integrate these into a range of downstream systems, including user interactive tools and official risk P&L and risk systems
• Engineer robust and scalable workflows, and, where required, integrate third-party components spanning vendor systems, cloud technology, and data engineering platforms
• Provide prompt support and a high level of service to all downstream consumers
• Proactively drive efficiency across Macro BAU processes to improve the overall quality and efficiency of daily technology operations

WHAT’S REQUIRED
We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong coding abilities, rigorous mathematical problem-solving skills, and experience in P&L and risk systems or in another front office development capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in the following programming languages: C#, SQL, Python.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, specifically in a P&L and risk systems or another Front Office development capacity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• A commitment to the highest ethical standards
