What you’ll do

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, ESXi hosts, and vCenter Server, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of virtual environments
• Monitor and optimize virtual machines (VMs) for performance, resource utilization, and scalability
• Implement best practices for VM provisioning and management
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for virtual environments
• Use tools like VMware vSphere Replication and Site Recovery Manager to ensure data protection
• Implement security measures to protect virtual environments, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
• Develop scripts using PowerShell, PowerCLI, or other automation tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
• Use monitoring tools to track performance metrics and proactively address potential issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to virtualization and provide technical support and guidance to team members and end - users
• Maintain accurate documentation of the virtual environment, configurations, and procedures
• Work closely with Technology teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to management

What’s REQUIRED

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in VMware administration or a related field
• Strong knowledge of VMware technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
