**About the Role**
As one of the key logistic technology providers in Taiwan, Uber Direct enables merchants to unlock last-mile delivery for their customers through their own app or website marketplaces. We are currently building an exciting team to grow our Uber Direct business, and we need people like you to bring the best experience to our merchant partners!
As an **Operations Manager** in the Uber Direct team, you will help scale the business by driving continuous improvements through both process and tech changes, managing new product feature launches and courier management.
You will work closely with a cross-functional team to optimize Uber Direct’s specialized courier supply model to reduce friction during the courier’s delivery journey so as to provide the best delivery experience to the merchants.
**What You Will Do**
- **Courier management and engagement** \- As Direct is building up Direct’s specialized courier supply model, you will work on building up processes of courier onboarding, education communication, quality management system and revamping the courier support experience by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- **Courier supply growth**\- Build up a strategy to facilitate the conversion of regular couriers to Direct-specialized couriers and grow the supply base in response to business needs.
- **Integration / operations solutioning** \- Act as the key product expert of Uber Direct and work with the engineering and commercial team to structure the best practice integration and operations proposal for large-scale customers to adopt last-mile delivery service.
- **Product feature launch** \- Work with global and regional product operations teams to identify, plan, and operationalize new features to improve merchant and couriers’ experience and grow the business at scale.
- **Internal communications streamlining-** Be the local product champion for direct-related feature share-out with local internal stakeholders and build up communication channels for stakeholders to raise product-related questions to make a SOT of product FAQ.
- **Data analysis** - Deep dive into the courier delivery journey and identify the opportunity for improvement with data insight.
**Basic Qualifications**
- At least three years of experience in operations, analytics, project management, consulting, or a related field, preferably in fast-paced corporate environments.
- Expertise in analyzing data to uncover actionable insights and recommendations that support commercial strategies and merchant engagements.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin for effective verbal and written communication and influence.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Capable of breaking down complex situations into independently solvable tasks, quickly implementing the solutions, and considering the impacts and risks.
- Capability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across the globe and locally in a constantly evolving, rapid-growth environment with tight deadlines.
