_**This is a hybrid role (50%) in office and you must be located in, or willing to relocate, to New York.**_ **About the Role** Global Strategic Analysis provides analytic insights and recommendations to enable leadership decision-making on (1) employee life and safety and (2) marketplace security risks. We seek to inform leadership of emerging threats and forecast future challenges, as well as provide mitigation insights and suggestions. The Strategic Risk Analyst - Lead will have a vital role within the strategic cell of the team responsible for synthesizing regional intelligence, vendor reporting, and OSINT to produce global analysis and perform other special risk projects for senior leadership. **What You’ll Do** - Produce oral and written analytic findings to Global Security and company leadership to support employee life & safety (ELS), marketplace security, and broader risk-based decision making. **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, international affairs, political science, or other related field. - 3+ years of prior experience in physical security, corporate investigations, military, law enforcement, or similar field. - Strong analytic written and oral communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable intelligence reports and briefings. **Preferred Qualifications** - Ability to conduct in-depth OSINT & vendor research. - Ability to leverage AI to support analytic research & writing. - Prior experience working in or supporting multiple regions globally. - Ability to conduct geospatial analysis. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$90,000 per year - USD$100,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
