**About the Role**
We are hiring a Driver Operations Manager who will support growing our taxi and rideshare supply bases and improving their engagement with Uber’s products. The role will lead driver, fleet, and other partners' product/feature launches and improvements by working closely with global product and engineering teams. It will also be responsible for growing our partners' business insights that are critical for the growth of our business.
The ideal candidate will have good business acumen and excellent analytical skills to derive deep insights and enable data-driven decision-making. Given the nature of the work, you will also possess strong communication skills to facilitate cross-functional and cross-cultural communication. You are curious about new problems that emerge with our evolving business and willing to tackle them by rolling up your sleeves.
**What the Candidate Will Do**
As a member of the Driver Operations team, you will report to a senior leader of the Mobility team and be responsible for external partner management. Your scope will include:
1. Manage 3P partners to increase Uber suppy base by providing technical and operational supports to partners
2. Closely work with global product and tech teams to improve 3P technical capabilities
3. Derive analytical insights to drive taxi and rideshare supply growth and engagement improvements.
**Basic Qualifications**
1. Minimum 6–8 years of experience working with products and/or project management in a fast-moving environment.
2. Clear communication that enables you to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.
3. Sound analytical skills that enable you to develop deep insights and recommend data-driven solutions and decisions.
4. Bilingual in **Japanese** and **English**

1. Creative, solutions driven mindset - You have a “get things done” attitude and willingness to get “in the trenches” to work with our stakeholders to develop creative solutions to challenges that haven’t been addressed before.
2. Analytical rigor and sound business judgment - We use data to inform our decisions; you’ll quickly identify what data you need to solve a problem and how to analyze it to get to the answer. You’ll have experience dealing with complex data sets, deriving actionable insights and checking against what you see in the real world. You will use these insights to quickly establish the highest-value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them.
3. Stakeholder management - Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines.
