**About the Role** Uber’s Trust & Security Organization is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join its Physical Security Systems (PSS) Technical Security Project Manager team. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of new security builds in the North America (NORAM) region, to include security integrator management, while collaborating extensively with stakeholders such as the Places Team, Facility Managers and Regional Security Managers. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, deep knowledge of physical security systems, and the ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy. This position will be based in Dallas, Texas. **What You’ll Do** - Manage all aspects of new security builds, from design collaboration to final acceptance, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to global security standards set by the PSS Senior Manager. - Collaborate closely with the Global Builds Team, Uber Places, and Regional Security Managers to design and implement effective security solutions. - Select, manage, and oversee security integrator vendors throughout the project lifecycle, including proposal evaluation, pricing negotiation, and invoice processing. - Ensure high-caliber installations by overseeing installation quality, schedule adherence, and the resolution of any snag items. - Attend project build meetings, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and act as the single point of contact for all security build discussions. - Ensure the Technical Security team has the latest information, including floorplans and design strategies. Provide expert recommendations on physical security systems and document stakeholder decisions. - Understand security budget needs from Workplace, communicate project costs for security technology, and ensure projects are executed within budget. - Document stakeholder sign-offs, deliver a final project summary to PSS Leadership, and ensure all key project deliverables (warranties, as-builts, designs, stakeholder list, project summary) are uploaded to the Physical Security Systems database. **Basic Qualifications** - 5+ years experience in managing physical security installations - Deep understanding of physical security systems and technology - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Experience in vendor selection and management - Ability to interpret and work with floorplans and technical designs - Domestic and International travel as required to get things done **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience handling sensitive materials, systems, and information - Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional relationships to accomplish program objectives - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$120,000 per year - USD$133,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
