The Product & Technology Contract Management team at Netflix provides transactional deal support to Netflix’s corporate, studio and product organizations globally. We provide deal guidance and contract negotiation support that aligns with each distinct business team’s strategies and goals and act consistent with our culture, one marked by a bias toward action, collaborative work, and candid discussions about smart risks.
As part of this team, the Project Manager will serve a critical role in implementing innovative and scalable ways to improve our contract management operations. They will liaise with cross functional partners to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and implement solutions that drive efficiencies across the Product & Technology legal team at Netflix. We are seeking a self-motivated, quick-thinking, proactive, flexible project manager who is able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is able to exercise good judgment, respond quickly to changes, and show significant initiative.
This position is based in Los Gatos, California.
In this role, you will:
Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives, including monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
Oversee and work cross-functionally on the configuration, administrative management and technical maintenance of various legal technology tools and workflows.
Collaborate with the Product & Technology legal team to help identify operational pain points and develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Facilitate communication and coordination between the contract management team and other departments.
Analyze and report on project performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Maintain flexibility and openness to take on additional projects as necessary to support business priorities.
Who we are looking for:
4+ years of relevant experience as a project manager or in legal operations.
Superb project management and organizational skills with an ability to work effectively cross-functionally, communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders;
Technical expertise across a variety of tools designed to support workflows (i.e., Airtable, Google Suite, Salesforce CRM, IPfolio/Clarivate, Jira, Slack, Zendesk, Evisort, Sprinklr, Dispatch)
Solution-driven mindset with the ability to think strategically, but also to use good judgment to build scalable processes and escalate matters that require urgent attention;
Strong attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables;
Previous experience with Contracts Management is highly desirable.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $130,000 - $380,000.
