Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with 283 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.
Netflix members watch more content localized than they do in the original language they speak. As Netflix continues to expand its global reach and invest in new content formats like Live and Games, localization is critical to ensuring our content travels and resonates with members. As we enter a new phase of Netflix’s growth, we are looking for a Product Manager who will lead new strategic initiatives in how we localize our content.
In this role, you will join a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and data scientists to push the boundaries for our language experiences. A successful candidate will have the creativity to look at problems in new ways and the boldness to try new things, a hypothesis-driven mentality, a balance of creativity and analytic skills, excitement for and experience with launching AI-enabled products, and exceptional organizational influence.
This role sits within the Content Promotion and Distribution organization which is at the intersection of the consumer experience and Netflix Studio. Our team is integral to making the Netflix experience feel personal and relevant by developing innovative approaches to how we promote, localize, and distribute content. Because our products impact both consumers and content creators, we seek someone who can fluidly move among both worlds, applying strong product principles and strategic frameworks, while deeply empathizing with the art and craft required to create great content.
At Netflix, our product team is small, so you will have the opportunity to make a big impact, and our unique culture drives our approach to innovation.
