The Talent Development and Training team aims to centralize and streamline training to ensure an equitable and consistent learning experience across all production departments. By fostering a culture of learning and development, we believe it is essential to create training programs that equip individuals at all levels with the skills and tools needed to collaborate effectively, lead teams, drive innovation, and uphold our high standards of creative excellence.
We are seeking a Training Coordinator to support our growing end-to-end feature animation studio. In this role, the Training Coordinator will assist in the development, implementation, and coordination of instructional content and learning programs. The Training Coordinator will also provide essential administrative support and coordinate education and training activities to foster a learning culture within the organization. The training coordinator will promote and communicate all of the training offerings and gather feedback from attendees, instructors, and other stakeholders to assess the quality of the training offered.
The Training Coordinator will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Global Talent Development and Training and Technical Instructor. They will be a point person for communication to and from the training department. They will follow up on all projects and make sure that the team is carrying the work through to completion based on set priorities.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Animation and Education, and a master of planning and scheduling. Someone who is curious, self-motivated, and ready to jump in.
What You’ll Do:
Administrative Support:
Work closely with the Talent Development and Training team to provide day-to-day administrative support.
Maintain the calendar for all training-related events, ensuring synchronization with cross-functional departments.
Coordinate Training activities and programs, which can include new hire training, studio-focused, or show-based training.
Serve as a point of contact for communication to and from the training department.
Education & Training Coordination:
Promote and communicate training offerings, gathering feedback to assess quality.
Coordinate content for new hire training and manage education requests.
Consolidate recorded trainings and education offerings, sourcing new external resources.
Coordinate with Artist Managers to identify available talent to support training efforts.
Ensure the effective use of LinkedIn and other learning tools.
Establish a ticketing system to track training requests
Respond to ad hoc learning and development requests.
Instructional Content & Resource Management:
Assist in the development and maintenance of instructional content, resources, and workshop materials.
Design visual materials such as fliers, digital invitations, and presentation decks.
Organize and manage training recordings in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Assist with the creation of training and development plans, projects, and budgets.
Research & Program Design:
Conduct research and gather data to help inform program design and measure impact.
Develop and review learning materials to ensure they are current and relevant.
Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support learning initiatives.
Maintenance & Reporting:
Maintain training resources and pages on platforms like GSuites and Confluence.
Partner with TalDev & Ops Manager for operational support and reporting as required.
What You’ll Need:
Experience:
3+ years in training administration/coordination or related areas. (skilled in workshops, training events, scheduling, etc.)
Knowledge/Skills:
Experience in a studio/production environment and animation is a plus.
Experience with event planning and logistics, flyer design/graphic design, and communicating with stakeholders of varying levels
Proficiency in Google Suite and calendaring system, Airtable is a plus
Knowledge in the Adobe Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere) is a plus
Knowledge of learning frameworks, tools, and new technology.
Basic design skills are a bonus.

At Netflix Animation Studios, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The overall market range for this role is typically $64,000 - 87,000 CAD. This reflects total compensation; we do not have stock options.
