Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis, or 6 years with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience uncovering compelling insights, building narratives, and scaling thought leadership.
  • Experience influencing data science, engineering, marketing teams, and C-suite executives.
  • Experience with online advertising (Search, Display, Video/TV), website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), or brand analysis techniques.
  • Experience performing marketing experiments, return on investment, financial modeling, and statistical analyses.
  • Understanding of Google's ad products and ability to use SQL.
  • Familiarity with brand and performance marketing and measurement solutions (e.g., MMM, Experiments, MTA, incrementality, etc.).

As an Analytical Lead, you will be a trusted advisor using data-driven insights to solve client growth tests. You own our clients’ marketing measurement plans and partner with Google's ad sales teams.

With an investigative background in areas like consulting or marketing analytics, you will refine situations into actionable insights and help clients modernize their measurement practices. You will leverage user behavior insights, customer segmentation, and Google data to devise successful marketing strategies.

You will be a critical thinker, comfortable with ambiguity, possess business acumen, and are a tenacious problem-solver. You will work with clients, owning relationships with key decision-makers. You will be navigating cross-functional teams, influencing without authority, and building trust to motivate change is essential.

industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously tests how customers think about their business and how
Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Consult with clients as an industry advocate and analyst on opportunities associated with trends, potential business impact, and methodologies for marketing, media, measurement, and data integration. Help clients navigate industry standards and alternatives.
  • Seek out key decision makers and earn their trust to test the status quo together by telling stories with data, both visually and verbally.
  • Foster client relationships with others in the client organization and their vendors including marketing/advertising, and analytics.
  • Partner with internal and external product, research, data and measurement teams to bring full capabilities to clients.
  • Analyze internal and external data and use predictive and statistical modeling techniques to uncover opportunities, develop solutions to client marketing tests, and measure success of advertising campaigns.
