Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber-security, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience assessing and developing cyber-security solutions and programs across security domains.
- 8 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to work with internal partners and customer teams.
- Ability to travel up to 30% as needed.
Preferred qualifications:
- Professional certifications in cyber-security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC).
- Experience leading cyber-security assessments, including table-top exercises (TTX).
- Experience in performing engagement activities including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, structuring customized engagements based on clientβs request, proposal writing, and drafting statements of work.
- Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST CSF).
- Ability to present complex security concepts to varied audiences (e.g., technical and executive).
- Excellent time, consulting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
As a Mandiant Strategic Security Consultant, you will lead and support projects on behalf of clients that assess, test, or build their security programs. Project teams may range from 2 to 5 colleagues. Clients will range from start-up companies looking to supplement their security team to Fortune 100 companies that need fresh ideas to enhance their perspective on the security program. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $164,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Provide guidance on building or maturing cyber-security programs and the implementation of tools and technologies used for enterprise security.
- Conduct security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and business teams to address cyber risk and provide clear, and organized risk findings and recommendations to clients.
- Lead execution of consulting engagements and development of deliverables from start to finish, leading teams in analyzing requirements to produce prioritized results aligned to client needs and risk profile.
- Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations, track and drive to closure any issues that impact the service and its value to clients.
- Identify, build and manage a sustainable pipeline of opportunities for the Mandiant consulting business with new and existing clients.
