About the Team

Our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team is seeking a dynamic Sr Product Merchant. Our team is passionate about delivering an exceptional online DTC shopping experience. We are tech-savvy and eager to adopt innovative tools and strategies to stay ahead in a competitive eCommerce landscape.

About the Role

This role will oversee the sales of Roku branded TVs, Roku Players, Remotes, and Smart Home products on our DTC site for the US market. You will drive traffic and sales by curating product offerings, promotions, and implementing strategies to attract existing and new Roku customers. Leveraging customer and products insights data, you’ll collaborate with marketing teams to craft campaigns and ensure the online store delivers a compelling, conversion-driven shopping experience.

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you'll be doing

Product Merchandising:

  • Partner with eCommerce and Marketing teams to curate product categories, optimize site navigation, and enhance product discovery
  • Ensure products are integrated seamlessly onto the site with engaging, customer-focused descriptions, high-resolution visuals, and accurate pricing to drive sales and build trust
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimize the product mix, focusing on increasing conversion rates, average order value, and customer satisfaction

Demand Planning & Forecasting:

  • Partner with operations and logistics teams to forecast product demand, ensure stock levels meet customer needs, while minimizing overstock
  • Analyze historical sales data, promotional impacts to fine tune demand forecast and procurement decisions
  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align on product launches, promotions, and inventory planning

Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor sales, margin, and inventory metrics to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Stay current with market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer preferences to influence new initiatives that are aligned to the strategy
  • Introduce innovative ideas and strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive sales growth

 

We’re excited if you have

  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising in a DTC or eCommerce environment focused consumer electronics
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data tools (Excel, Tableau, or Looker)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across diverse teams
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for product trends and customer preferences
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and other merchandising tools
