**About the Role** As a Product Manager on Uber Connect (Courier), you will be building one of Uber’s fastest growing independent lines of business that allows any consumer around the world to access Uber’s best in class logistics network. Consumers and small businesses alike can access our delivery platform for any use case ranging from picking up that jacket you left at your friends place to helping SMBs deliver their retail orders to the post office. You will be responsible for our Core Experience which encompasses everything from creating a magical booking experience to ensuring that every package is delivered flawlessly. This role will require you to work with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders across business development, sales, operations, data science, design, engineering and more. **What the Candidate Will Do** The Uber Connect (Courier) world is vast and we are only just getting started. This is a representative sampling of the areas you might be tackling on the team: 1. Ensure that Uber has the courier supply and capabilities to support all the complex trip types that businesses may require Uber to provide delivery for. This will include deliveries for C2C deliveries, convenience store pick ups, grocery orders, retail orders. 2. Develop new experiences and product offerings such as delivery insurance, handling requirements, etc. 3. Build Uber Connect (Courier) to be the most reliable logistics network available; this will include not only ensuring that every delivery is completed but also that it’s completed on time and without any issues. 4. Enable Uber to operate globally including factoring in local nuances such as vehicle supply types, regulatory requirements and delivery distances in different cities and markets **Basic Qualifications** 01. Minimum 5+ years product management experience delivering successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them 02. Technical savviness. Can manifest in different ways: hands-on software engineering experience, or experiences building complex software products side by side with engineers. 03. Attention to detail. The ability to obsess over every single part of the food-making process 04. Customer obsession. The ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions to avoid making them our users and partner’s problems 05. Finger-tippiness with data. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis 06. A “Driver” mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery 07. Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on 08. A high bar across the board — from your own contributions to the people you work with, to the products you work on 09. A true passion for Uber’s mission, our products, and the company’s hybrid technology/operations nature 10. A never-ending desire to grow and learn **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Proven track record of building products from 0-1 2.
