**About the Role** As a Program Manager you will be responsible for leading projects that support the scaling and continuous improvement of Uber’s Global HR Support model. You will directly oversee process optimization initiatives that improve key people processes/programs, HR compliance, and policy work within Uber’s multi-tiered HR support operations. Your role will drive partnerships with People Partners, HR Business Partners, People Operations, and CoEs to ensure we meet the emerging needs of the business. This evolving and growing function will help define clear process and policy ownership for key HR programs that ensure efficiency and scalability. You must be adept at managing multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving measurable impact through effective execution. You will work closely with various cross-functional stakeholders to identify and negotiate resourcing needs, interdependent workflows, and build out procedures to support identified work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex HR challenges, driving sustainable solutions, and shaping the future of HR programs through data-driven decision-making. **What You'll Do** - Identify and root cause key areas of opportunity in the Global HR Support Model for People Partners and HR Business Partners and oversee projects/programs geared towards solutions - Responsible for defining and improving HR processes, policies, and operations to enhance the employee experience while collaborating with global People Operations, Employee Relations, Legal, and other People teams to ensure a business-centric and compliant approach. - Research and analyze HR data, assess opportunities and provide strategic insights and recommendations for HR leadership and stakeholders. - Build business reviews for leadership, People Partners, and HR Business Partner teams to measure ongoing team performance against key metrics **Basic Qualifications** - 5+ years of professional, related experience in people operations, HR generalist, HR advisor, HR business partner or project/program manager in the human resources - Project Management: experience in running HR projects end-to end, can coordinate and prioritize new projects, and support the business & people teams through change management - At least two (2) years experience with process optimization, operations, system enhancements, or business analysis role **Preferred Qualifications** - Strong analytical skills and logical thinking, with the ability to identify and resolve complex HR issues while driving process optimization - Proven effective partner management and collaboration with other teams to deliver a consistent employee experience - Excellent verbal written communication skills; and strong project management expertise - Workday and/or Oracle experience and experience using ServiceNow or similar case management system is a plus - Strong business acumen. Ability to understand Uber’s businesses and how data can inform our people and business objectives. - Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments at a similar size and scale to Uber - Self-driven, detail-oriented, highly organized, and highly collaborative. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$114,000 per year - USD$127,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
