Role Description: Move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the company’s forecasting process and drive financial decision making within Booking.com. In this rotation program you will join a dynamic, international and fast-paced team. You will do a 2 year rotational program of a maximum of 4 rotations in which you will get a well rounded experience of what FP&A at Booking.com is. You will work in a wide variety of FP&A Teams. This is an ideal opportunity to start your career in FP&A and get exposure to all facets of the job: Forecasting, Business Cases, Business Control Variance Analysis and Budgeting. You will be working in our headquarters in Amsterdam. Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organisation and the different rotation you will be doing, you will be able to have a steep learning curve and by the end of the program you will have a solid base to further your career as a FP&A Professional. In the teams you will be joining during the rotation program you will have a mix of special projects that have a substantial impact on FP&A and its processes. You will also be part of the daily operations of the different teams that are part of your rotation. You have an opportunity to shape your experience and learning in this program yourself. Together with you we will look at your ambitions and needs so that you can get the maximum benefit and learnings from your rotations. After completing the two year rotation program successfully you will be able to join one of the FP&A teams on a permanent basis. Snapshot of possible rotations: Dive into the world of Business Control in one or more departments at Booking.com. You will be supporting the Work Force Management process, setting budgets and keeping track of costs. Become a data and forecasting expert in the Revenue Forecasting Team. Sharpen your data skills and support with understanding recent trends and what they mean for the future. Learn how the business is supported from an FP&A point of view when developing Business Cases for new products to serve our partners and customers in the Accommodation Business Unit. Be part of the team that supports the business with bringing the connected trip to life in the Trips Business Unit. Gain experience in the Fintech Business Unit fp&a team. And learn how this fast growing and dynamic part of the business is a cornerstone of Booking’s strategy. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: Partnering with key stakeholders to develop a bottom up forecast and budgets Creates meaningful and actionable variance analysis comparing financial results with all relevant comparison points. Work with accounting and business teams on month-end close activities to accurately report results; Support development of new business cases that strengthen the value proposition of Booking.com Drive or support special projects that strengthen the processes of FP&A. Support both the short and long-term business planning process to create meaningful financial plans that guide the organization and drive for the achievement of financial and operational objectives. Drives efficiency and consistency through the process. Qualifications & Skills: Recently graduated with relevant internship experience / 1 year of working experience; Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a similar field; Comfortable in working with numbers/data; strong analytical skills; Ability to be a reliable, hands-on deliverer of quality results; Strong written / verbal communication skills in English, and comfortable presenter; A strong team player who also has the ability to work independently; Affinity for financial systems and willingness to learn new things; A self-starter, comfortable working in cross-functional teams and working in an often ambiguous environment; Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion; Benefits & Perks - Global Impact, Personal Relevance: Booking.com’s Total Rewards Philosophy is not only about compensation but also about benefits.
