We currently have an amazing opportunity for a Department assistant lead role in our Global Talent Operations Center (GTOC), our location strategy to deliver scaled services and consistent employee experience. This exciting new role is based in our Mexico City, Terminal 1 office.

This role will lead our team in executing day-to-day operations with efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll spearhead the seamless delivery of administrative support services, maximizing productivity and effectiveness for our stakeholders and the administrative community at Netflix. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in coordinating requests, managing daily operations, and providing guidance to a team of dedicated Department Assistants. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving productivity, addressing challenges, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

As a DA Team lead, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, including executives, HR, and other departments, to ensure the needs of our organization are met. Your demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks, communicate with clarity and professionalism, and navigate complex situations with grace and confidence, combined with being a proactive problem solver and demonstrating a passion for driving results, will be key in shaping the team's success.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless day-to-day operations through proactively managing and coordinating executive business activities.

  • Operational Oversight: Manage program operations, ensuring effective support for executives and staff, especially in complex assignments. Coordinate across departments to maintain seamless operations aligned with organizational goals.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor OKRs, KPIs, and SLAs to drive efficiency, particularly for complex tasks. Use these metrics to ensure the team remains focused and adapts quickly to changing conditions.

  • Workload Management: Ensure balanced workload distribution, matching complex assignments with appropriate skills to prevent burnout and maximize productivity.

  • Task Tracking and Process Evaluation: Implement systems to track task completion and conduct regular process evaluations to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance effectiveness.

  • Stakeholder Feedback and Collaboration: Gather feedback to adjust services and build strong stakeholder relationships. Facilitate collaboration on complex projects to align efforts with organizational objectives.

  • Continuous Learning and Performance Enhancement: Promote skill development and personalized coaching to boost performance, crucial for tackling complex assignments.

  • Leadership and Culture: Lead by example, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect, and ensuring a supportive environment for managing complex tasks.

Qualifications

  • +7 years experience as an Administrative assistant, executive assistant, or other related roles. 

  • Solid experience in operations-related fields, with the ability to connect day-to-day activities to broader strategic objectives

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to convey information clearly, concisely, and professionally to executives and stakeholders 

  • Proven expertise in prioritizing and managing multiple complex tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Skilled at analyzing complex situations, identifying root causes, and developing effective solutions

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • Experience leading teams or mentoring other team members
