The Opportunity

The Senior Manager of Enterprise Security - LATAM will be responsible for building out and enhancing security capabilities, focused on protecting Netflix personnel and sites across the region, as well as optimizing preparedness and response security incidents. As part of the Enterprise Security Team, you will drive the implementation and regional deployment of a comprehensive Enterprise Security program for our owned & leased facilities, including offices, M&As, or Consumer Product Experiences. You will ensure this is successfully executed and support the Senior Director - Enterprise in delivering on all security programs in the region.

You’re a thoughtful and tenured security practitioner with experience in developing regional corporate security requirements in a multinational company. You understand that legacy or best practice security solutions are not what will make you successful. You will understand how to adapt traditional security approaches, programs, and operations with our unique culture. You will be able to operate within a security space that aligns with our organizational and operational risk profile. This Senior Manager of Enterprise Security - LATAM role will be based in Sao Paulo and reports to the global Senior Director, Enterprise Security.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Stay highly aligned with cross-functional partners to develop and implement a security program that aligns with our risk and culture

  • Implement a baseline approach for the security program that can be used to assess our current portfolio and influence site selection and design of new facilities 

  • Lead, manage, and oversee access control and the contracted guard force, including coverage requirements, training, and post orders 

  • Strategize and work with our Security Technology team to leverage frictionless and user-friendly security solutions, where possible  

  • Partner with Risk & Intel team to articulate relevant security risks faced by the business to cross-functional partners and regional leadership

  • Maintain training for the Incident Management Team (IMT) and Threat Management Team (TMT) programs to ensure excellence in responding and managing incidents and/ or sensitive cases impacting employees.

  • Support, and where necessary, lead regional crisis/incident management, communications, and response with our Safe@ team

  • Align & partner with regional Content Risk Management, which may include supporting productions/events

  • Leverage information in the geopolitical space to keep our sites and employees safe 

  • Strategize with our global Programs and regional security team to increase resilience across the business by developing innovative methods to protect our sites, engage employees as they relate to personal, medical and travel risks 

  • Strength and maintain collaborative external partnerships with local law enforcement, federal agencies, third-party vendors and community organizations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Security, or related field with at least 10 years of experience with increasing scope, responsibility and complexity at a multinational company 

  • Experience in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments and operational security design/planning

  • Demonstrated experience in building, managing, mentoring, and inspiring physical security teams, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive impact

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and explain the present or future needs for proposed security initiatives to regional and global leadership

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
