We are looking for someone who is deeply technical and has an unwavering passion for building user-centered software products. The ideal candidate should be skilled in developing reusable components and features for browser-based apps and have an incredible attention to detail.
This may be your dream job if you:
Value simplicity and clarity in design.
Have a background in front-end and back-end problem solving and are comfortable working across the stack.
Passion to build stunning products that deliver measurable value to our users.
Enjoy staying up to date with changing ecosystems.
Passion to build a unified platform that solves interesting data problems across search, discovery, access, and attribution experiences.
Are self-led but highly aligned with your teammates; we develop fast, and align daily.
Exhibit exceptional communication & presentation skills.
Multitask and independently manage your own priorities to work fast and deliver.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand and diagnose symptoms.
You are a reliable partner in execution of a technical strategy.
We’re looking for you to have experience with:
Building enterprise-grade products across multiple release cycles, emphasizing usability, scalability, performance, responsiveness, and maintainability.
Fluency in modern web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Web Components, and build tools like Vite, with the ability to evaluate and guide architectural decisions.
Reviewing and guiding the evolution of federated API schemas, balancing local client needs with the needs of a larger enterprise ecosystem.
Working on UI libraries or shared components that support consistency across products, especially in multi-app or federated environments.
Mentoring other engineers on UI design and technical approaches in data-heavy domains, and presenting complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
Experience working with design systems and cross-functional product teams to define thoughtful UX patterns for technical users (e.g. data practitioners, data analysts, or engineers).
Familiarity with the workflows, concepts and tooling of data platforms, including data lineage, data discovery, data movement, data analytics, online data stores, and search.
Experience facilitating user research and turning ambiguous needs into clear, actionable interface patterns.
