Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Senior Vulnerability Management (VM) Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization by overseeing vulnerability remediations. While you won't be directly patching systems, your contributions will ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness in responding to vulnerabilities and flaws identified through routine and ad hoc scans, intelligence notices, and threat research. This position offers opportunities to collaborate with all business units within Kaseya's growing portfolio and to champion security remediation efforts. Our rapidly growing team provides excellent growth opportunities as we pursue advanced vulnerability management capabilities and goals.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Vulnerability Management (VM) Analyst to be a key player in our organization’s VM team.

THE SCHEDULE:
This role is a full-time, in-office position based in our Miami Headquarters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prioritize, triage, and investigate vulnerabilities with a focus on expanding the scope of impact.

  • Follow up on ongoing remediation efforts and vulnerability validations.

  • Collaborate with other teams to champion complex vulnerability remediations.

  • Create, maintain, and optimize operational documentation and workflows.

  • Facilitate and optimize the collection of KPIs.

  • Utilize experience with BI tooling and supporting query languages.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best cybersecurity practices.

  • Proactively scout for vulnerabilities that are exploited in the wild and zero-days.

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience with security tools, systems, and processes related to vulnerability management, vulnerability scanners, and/or cloud configuration tools.

  • Possess advanced knowledge of network protocols, Windows OS, Linux OS, and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).

  • Be familiar with industry standards and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO, etc.).

  • Create remediation recommendations and workarounds.

  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • CISSP or vulnerability management-related certifications are preferred but not required.

  • 2+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related sub-field.

  • 2+ years of experience in Vulnerability Management Analysis.

  • Ability to resolve conflicts among various business units or stakeholders in mitigating risks.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Effectively collaborate with multiple business lines or functions to identify missing controls and assist in timely implementation.

  • Ability to work in complex environments independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
