Full Stack Developer (React + Java) - Kaseya/ID Agent Engineering

Kaseya Workplace & Fileprotection Engineering is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help design, build, and implement innovative solutions for our award-winning backup products. You’ll be working with a wide range of technologies in a collaborative environment to create powerful products that enable the success of our partners. As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the development of our platform, which is used by thousands of daily users to protect and empower their businesses.

Job Summary

As a Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of your code and work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new features, enhance existing functionality, and address reported defects. Using Agile/Scrum methodologies, you will work alongside product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered on time. You’ll collaborate through the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy new features using such technologies and frameworks  as JS+React, Java.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Ensure software quality by writing unit tests, performing testing, and applying best practices.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for project planning, task estimation, and delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Integrate solutions with various back-end services and databases, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Continuously improve development processes and advocate for best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications using JS + React.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for modern web development.
• 3+ years of experience in building production-grade applications using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and designing efficient database queries.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA and GitHub for project management and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) and a team-oriented mindset.

Desired Skills

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build automation (experience with GitHub Actions is a plus).
• Familiarity with messaging and REST services
• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization.
• Experience working in a microservices architecture and integrating front-end and back-end services.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization.
