YOUR MISSION
Glovo is looking for a Data Operations Intern to join our regional team in Barcelona, supporting operations across the Africa Region, specifically in Morocco, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Nigeria, and Kenya. Are you passionate, proactive, data-driven, and hands-on? Do you want to evolve into one of the fastest-growing startups in Europe, building a product that will change people's day-to-day lives and disrupt the on-demand market?
THE JOURNEY
- Analyze data generated by our core operations across multiple African markets to improve the experience of our key stakeholders (Couriers, Users, and Partners).
- Provide data-driven insights to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) across supported countries, such as delivery times, cancellations, efficiency, and cross-departmental projects.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies, analyze root causes, and propose actionable, data-driven solutions tailored to regional needs.
- Standardize and optimize processes to drive operational efficiency in our African markets.
- Track KPIs, manage scheduling, attendance, and general administration of Info-Sessions, while supporting daily operations through operational supervision and data analysis.
- Collaborate closely with local Operations Managers in each supported country to streamline customer support processes and enhance overall operations.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to monitor and implement structural process optimizations within the Africa Region.
- Bring your most innovative ideas to life and make an immediate impact by thinking outside the box!
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or any technological field.
- Passion for analytics: you enjoy deep-diving into problems to uncover root causes and drive improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills: no challenge is too big or small.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in SQL is a must.
- Professional-level English (French is a plus given the regional scope).
- An empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude.
