YOUR MISSION
You will be supporting the Engineering department with 500 engineers and 70 leaders. Your role will be to own and drive the People vision and agenda for your scope: managing it end to end, you will support leaders and employees during their journey in Glovo, ensuring they are engaged and productive.
THE JOURNEY
- Full ownership of all People processes (Performance Review, Promotion cycle, Salary review, employee engagement, etc)
- Strategic thinking and guidance on all people topics
- Coaching leaders and supporting them with their leaders skills journey
- Ensuring all employees feel listened to, supported and motivated on their Glovo ride
- Data driven decisions, picking up early on themes and trends
- Act as ambassador of our values, living and breathing our culture
- Push for change with continuous improvement of processes and ways of working
- Be great at reporting to track the performance and evolution of People topics
- Manage multiple projects and tasks ensuring timelines are met, resource needs are understood
- Effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal partners, senior leadership and works councils
- Create SOPs and drive process improvements for an Operations environment
- Developing new plans and roadmap to drive expansion
- Ensures critical path timelines are met, resource needs are understood and project prioritization is visible to senior leadership
- Cross functional coordination and alignment
- Able to switch between supporting, leading and managing
- Comfortably transition between big picture, strategic thinking and tactical, day-to-day planning and execution.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or related fields
- Experience in different areas of HR (recruitment, development/talent management, compensation, People Ops, Employee Relations and dealing with unions, with a deep knowledge in at least one of the them
- Bias to action with a good attitude for execution and solving problems, with a hands on approach
- Critical thinking questioning the status quo and trying to bring improvements and new solutions/ideas for current processes
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills at all levels, able to give training for group of leaders and to have difficult conversations when necessary
- Good understanding of People KPIs, data, analysis and how we can apply it in the People related topics to have a high performance culture
- Fluency in English, perfect verbal and written communication
- Knowledge in Spanish employment and labor law is a plus
