YOUR MISSION

The Expansion & Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of store openings and maintenance, ensuring compliance with local regulations and operational efficiency

THE JOURNEY

  • Store Expansion & Compliance:
    • Ensure full compliance with local laws and regulations for new store openings.
    • Manage all authorizations, permits, and legal paperwork required to open and operate stores.
    • Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Facility Management:
    • Serve as the primary contact for store managers regarding maintenance issues.
    • Coordinate and manage all maintenance and repair activities across the stores.
    • Source and negotiate with service providers to secure the best deals for repairs and maintenance while ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead projects from inception to completion, including paperwork, construction, and handover phases.
    • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively in French and Arabic with all stakeholders, including government entities and service providers.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations and project completion.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Proven experience in expansion, facility management, or a related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of local laws and compliance requirements for retail operations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills in French and Arabic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment with tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience managing construction and maintenance projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills and cost management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail or dark store operations.
  • Familiarity with local service providers and contractors
