YOUR MISSION

Embark on an exciting journey with Glovo. As Head of Grocery Partners you will spearhead the rapid expansion of the Quick Commerce sector in Italy, Play a crucial role in defining the trajectory of Italy's leading and fastest-growing Quick Commerce business.

 . As a pivotal leader in our team, you will:

  • Drive the Grocery (GDO) Business: You will own Business Development, Account Management, represent Glovo with key C-Level stakeholders in the GDO business
  • Drive Growth and Profitability: Take charge of the grocery partners' P&L within Glovo, guiding a dynamic commercial team (10+ ppl)  dedicated to fostering strong bonds with Italy's top grocery partners
  • Maximize Partner Success: Be the steward of our partners' business performance, meticulously analyzing key performance indicators, fueling growth, and materializing the Quick Commerce vision.
  • Negotiate and Build Partnerships: Lead contract renegotiations to forge robust, mutually beneficial partnerships with GDO partners, expanding Glovo reach and expand the overall quick-commerce  business in Italy. 
  • Lead with Excellence: Cultivate a top-tier commercial team, providing mentorship and setting new benchmarks for excellence. You will also be part of the Italy extended leadership team and will contribute to the direction and culture of our company. 

Work closely with HQ: You will be on point to work and align with HQ and localize global project as well as influence them to be tailored to your strategy and needs

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Proven Experience: At least 5 years in high-velocity environments (startups, leading consulting firms, prominent internet companies, FMCG, retail).
  • Business Knowledge: A solid grasp of the Retail & GDO landscape in Italy, including revenue mechanics and key drivers.
  • Leadership Skills: A track record of recruiting, managing, and nurturing a commercial team.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: A robust, data-oriented approach to decision-making, complemented by astute business judgment.

Structured Approach: Proven ability to structure complex problems, define action plans and effectively drive complex projects. Language Proficiency: Fluency in Italian and English.
