Job overview

As a Junior Business Controller you will work in a highly dynamic and international environment. The Junior Business Controller reports directly to the Business Controller. You will be assisting the latter in Revenue and Job Management (analytics, accounting, reporting, budgeting & forecasting). You will initiate/participate (in) projects in order to drive continuous improvement.

Our back-office finance is managed by the Group Shared Service Center in Spain and you may be required to work with them on specific tasks.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Be part of revenue accounting and periodic reporting/ad hoc requests for the Management Team, Network, Account Teams and Clients;
  • Perform month/quarter/half- and year end closing processes in a timely and accurate manner such as client profitability, analytics on the deferred and accrued revenue positions and timesheet management;
  • Be a point of contact for project and finance related requests and inquiries while having multiple periodic meetings with various internal stakeholders on client financial performance;
  • Review and analyze the company’s figures and business performance regularly via our ERP system and group data analytics tool (Quantum);
  • Initiate business and process improvements and participate in projects.


Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal as well as in writing.
  • HBO level (Finance/Accounting);
  • Maximum of 1 to 2 years relevant work experience, preferably within an international organization;
  • Positive, energetic, self-motivated individual;
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Well able to work together and independently;
  • Microsoft Excel specialist.
